ye, man!

De Original Jamaican Pattie..yum! i first got to taste it while i was still working at eTelecare. PBCom had the Patio, where peepee and i used to eat, and one of my favorite foods there is the jamaican pattie. when peepee and i left eTel, we missed eating it because we rarely saw a jamaican pattie store. the last time i ate a pattie was just last sunday. we watched a basketball game over at the araneta coliseum and kuya alvin bought jamaican patties for our snack.
then, just this afternoon, i was over at megamall running some errands when i happened to see this newly-opened jamaican pattie shop. i just remembered that we had seen it back then but it was still closed. i got so excited i bought four patties (a couple of cheesy beef and a couple of beef and mushroom). i took it home, and peepee and i ate the beef and mushroom. we have next to try their new flavor, which they call pinatubo. wonder how it tastes like...hmmm...

the parlor's almost complete...

i got this from peepee. yay! i've been wanting to own one for the longest time, but we just didn't have enough time to look at specific models until last sunday. a few days back (last week), peepee and i went to the mall to look at some possible gift items. i saw a Babyliss tourmaline/ceramic hair straightener (priced at Php2375). i wanted to buy it since i first saw it, but then we decided not to because we also wanted to look at other brands. also, looking at hair straighteners wasn't the main reason why we went to the mall. so, i said, we'll just buy it when we come back after a few days. when we went back last sunday, i went to the Babyliss area, but then the item that i wanted got sold out just the day before! i was so bummed out! so, i decided to not buy anything at all. i got so disappointed. the lady said there'll be another shipment that's due to arrive sometime next week. i didn't want to wait another day.
so, what peepee did was he looked at other brands and he found Vidal Sassoon. it did the same thing as the one from Babyliss did, but it was a couple hundred bucks more expensive than Babyliss. it was originally priced at Php3179.75 but we got it for just Php2861.
i mentioned that the VS straightener does the same thing as the Babyliss..well, the reason why i wanted the Babyliss was because it has tiny little vents at the side of the plates which acts as, well, vents. meaning, i could use it on either damp or dry hair, minus the worry of damaging my crown. the Babyliss lady was offering me another type of straightener (Php3450) which is just that...a straightener and nothing else. no way am i going to spend that hard-earned money on something that i half-heartedly want!
when peepee showed me the VS straightener, the first thing i asked the lady was that if it could be used on both damp and dry hair. she showed me a different model (which i think is much more compact than Babyliss'), and she immediately tried it on my hair. i'm glad she did, because i'm soo loving it now instead of Babyliss'

my newest babies

beauty gave birth last december 10 to two beautiful puppies, a girl and a boy, aptly named julio and julia. we just got back from the vet's clinic and had them declawed. they didn't cry much, not like the other puppies we had before them. but still, i feel sorry for them because their cute little fingers had to be cut off...

i was finally able to link my blog and facebook together (many thanks to bee and manet). although manet is still trying to figure out the kinks since hers is set to private.
here's the steps i went through..

• search networked blogs on your facebook account. fill out the form (your blog url and what-nots) then click on to the next step.
• when it asks you to verify your account, you will be given two choices. first is to verify through friends and the second is to install the widget on your blog. i initially went to the first step (it said it was the easiest. damn gullible!), but my head got fuddled with everything i had to go through, so i went back then clicked the second option.
• when you click the second option, you will be given an html code. before you copy the code, open your blog and go to customize, then add a gadget. click add html. then copy the widget code and paste it on the add html box. save it.
• go back to networked blogs then below the code, you should see a button that said verify widget. after saving the changes on your blog, click verify widget. it should get verified after a few seconds.
• once it's verified, you will be asked to change the feed settings on networked blogs, so go to the feed settings then click to check auto-publish to personal profile.
• once it's checked you can click on publish a test post. then, once it's published the test post, it's done.

thing is, whenever you publish anything on your blog, you'd have to go back to networked blogs on your facebook account so you can publish your new blog entry on your facebook account. just click pull feed and that's it! all done.

christmas party at lea's

last night, peepee and i went to lea's house for a get-together/christmas party. we brought our gifts and a couple of roasted chicken, while katkat brought leche flan, lumpia (they were yummy, by the way!), cheese sticks, and hotdogs. andrew and rizza brought pancit. after eating, we sang a few songs and drank lots of booze - well, they drank and i ate.
kenneth had to go to work so he didn't drink and left early. same with rio, he also left early. apparently he had to go somewhere else.
so, we exchanged gifts and they planned to meet again on the 23rd and spend the night at bernard's house. too bad i couldn't go because the 23rd's a wednesday, and i have to go to work the following day. boo!!!
anyhoots, everything was all good. i got a tumbler, while peepee got a hundred bucks. everyone was hoping to get the bottle of wine. jheph got it after a whole lot of rounds. really was a fun night last night!

i missed these gurlies!

it's been a while since we saw each other (i last saw cheq during our high school graduation!)...we've been friends since our elementary years and i really missed them!
me and peepee, cheq, mae, and cai met at cai's place (as usual). we decided to meet at 5pm last december 6, and me, being the usual slow poke, was late for two hours. of course, they so love me and they knew i would arrive late (they were actually expecting it already) so, we got to leave the house before 8pm. we had to pick jack up first. ayen was supposed to come (she insisted we go to tomas morato), but she cancelled at the last minute because of an emergency. since none of us lived close to morato, we decided to go to MOA instead and have dinner and what-nots.
we ate at cafe breton and then we went to blue wave to sing our lungs out. haha..it was a really fun night! leo picked cheq up at blue wave, then peepee and i took jack, mae, and cai home. peepee and i got home at around 3 am, i think.

hope to see again real soon, but the next time we schedule a reunion, i hope everyone else gets to come!

fun at blue whale grill...

yesterday, we went to alumi's first birthday celebration. it was held at blue whale grill in fun ranch, tiendesitas. peepee and i went to the venue around 9 am because we had to leave the balloons so the staff could arrange our reserved area. we got home around 10:30am and we had so little time left for preparations. i had to take the shortest full bath ever. kidding!
but it took me another hour before i was able to completely say i was satisfied with how i looked.
the host/magician/puppeteer did a good job doing his thing on stage, but peepee and i got a bit bothered by how he spoke. i mean, man! it was offending as hell! not that he was bastos or acting lascivious, but i mean, learning to speak english the right way (especially since he is an entertainer) could help big time!
he kept referring to alumi's mom, dad, and giro the "Birthday Family". i mean, how silly does that sound?!
anyways, everything else was delish. the children had spaghetti, french fries, and fried chicken, while the adults had pork asado (courtesy of mamita), i think it was beef caldereta, and buttered vegetables, and fried chicken. booze was flowing (yeah! iced tea!) and everyone seemed happy.
main attraction for me was when giro, charisse, and i think the other girl's name was pauline, danced Nobody. it was so much fun seeing giro dancing that way, without inhibitions! [ag bata nga talaga. it was really a sight to watch! i was so proud of him!

what i want for christmas...

like manet, i've been an avid subscriber of michelle phan's youtube channel. i like what she does with her makeup and everything. she does a lot of makeup tutorials and stuff and i like what she does. what i like most is her (prabably) large makeup kit.
i've been seeing her use this huge palette of eye shadows. luckily she shares the names of the brands she uses, so i know what i'm looking for.
for christmas, i'd like to have this...
it's the Coastal Scents 88 Warm Palette. they have the same palette in all colors, and i like it too, but i think my skin is too dark for it. i read that these colors are great for creating smokey eyes, which i love.
it's priced at $24.95. if converted to philippine peso, it would be around 1000-1500Php. i still think it is cheaper than other palettes because this already has 88 colors.
and also, if you want to create your own palette, Coastal Scent's website allows you to do just that. of course the price would be different (per pot).

worst feeling ever...

hey, october's supposed to be my birthday month. i wasn't expecting to be sick for almost half the entire month. first off, a few days after my birthday, i got acute bronchitis. i was coughing my lungs out (and i still am) and i've taken a hell lot of medicines that were supposed to suppress the cough. ha! i'm in the point of stopping the belief in cough medicines. my pulmonologist ordered xrays, i got the results and my lungs are clear. nothing suspicious in it.
then, just last tuesday, i got so dizzy i was only able to complete half of my shift. i was throwing up everything i was eating and i was nauseous everytime i stood up. i've had dizzy spells in the past but i would just sleep through it and feel fine after waking up. i tried sleeping through it and when i woke up i was still nauseous. i tried eating dinner but i threw up again. i had to ask peepee to take me to the hospital because i wasn't feeling very well at all and it was getting worse.
so peepee and wiz took me to the UST emergency room and i stayed there for several hours. they checked my eyes and my ears. blood samples were taken from me and i was injected with flagyl so i would stop throwing up. after the results came out everything was normal, but i was still advised to consult an ENT so they could take a better look inside my ears. they suspected it had something to do with my balance system or something.
up to now, i would still get dizzy spells during the the entire day but the nausea has stopped.
hope everything is fine come this november...

it's nearing...

another year will be added and i'm deathly scared...why? beats me. there's so much things i want to do. so many places i want to go to. so many different cultures i want to learn. so many languages i want to speak. haaay...so many things left undone, so little time.
i wish i have all the resources i could get my hands on so i could do everything. but, i don't.

sweet 18

wow..it's been a while since i last did this. been on facebook a whole lot of time before but now i'm busy watching korean dramas and movies online. just finished a korean drama called sweet 18. it was shown in the philippines before (over at gma 7) and i got to watch it and by far, it is the sweetest, funniest, most romantic (i could go on with the magnificent adjectives to describe it but i should stop), korean comedy-drama-romance series that i've seen. i'm just hooked to it! i've seen it like, more or less ten times already, but i just couldn't stop myself from watching it over and over again.

errands

well, yesterday was quite a busy day for us..after work, peepee and i went to tiendesitas to buy a choke chain and a leash for the doggies. then, we went to loyola heights to pick something up, and then we went to dogcity in e. rodriguez avenue to buy dog food.
luckily, we were able to do everything we needed to do before the rain started pouring, and when it started to rain heavily, we were already home.
afterwards, peepee asked me if i wanted to watch the transformers and i said yes. so, after giving the doggies their food and cleaning their places, we went to the mall and watched it. if there's a word that would best describe the film, it would be: Angas!!!
hehe..

muscles?

so, i went to the doctor to have my back checked (thanks coach angie!), and i was told it was aching because of my back muscles. was told to do some back exercises or to just stretch my back every hour while i'm in the office. i was also given 10 doses of pain reliever which i was supposed to take for 10 days. i was also advised to do a follow up check after 10 days. so, later (or maybe tomorrow) i'll be off to the pharmacy to buy drugs (addict! hehe..)
hopefully the pain would be gone after ten days..

my back is killing me

it's been aching for the longest time ever. i've been telling peepee about it (since early this year, i think), but i wasn't doing anything about it. i wasn't even minding it because i thought it was just stress, or that i was just tired. but, last saturday, on our way to tita ruby's, it was really painful and i couldn't sit up straight because it was very uncomfortable. i was in the passenger seat, slouched.
the pain is coming from the lower back part, right on top of my butt. i was slouched, and i was a massaging it a bit, when i suddenly felt a small lump. i thought it was just my bone, but it was moving a bit and when i tried touching the other side, there wasn't anything there. i told peepee about it and he said i should go see a doctor immediately. i told him next month when i go with my dad for his monthly checkup. hope this isn't something i should be scared about.
keeping my fingers crossed!

pcci show in sm fiarview

last saturday (and sunday), peepee, his mom, and me, went to another dog show in sm fairview. the show starts in the morning, about the same time as the mall opened, but since beauty and happy belonged in the toy group, we didn't go there until after lunch. we got there around 1:30-2:00pm, during the lunch break. we weren't able to go around because no one would stay with the doggies. but from what i saw, most of the boutiques were still under construction. i think they were doing some renovation.
our group started around 4 or i think it was 5 already. by 7pm, we were ready to go home, but unfortunately it was raining so hard outside. the mall's parking was a few meters away from the mall and we didn't bring an umbrella with us when we went inside. we also didn't want beauty and happy to get sick. so, we had to wait inside the mall for the rain to either subside a bit or to totally stop. it didn't stop, so peepee had to race through the parking lot and get the car. we were able to leave the mall at around 8pm, and we also had to go to tita ruby's place for a quick stop.
luckily there was no traffic going to tita ruby's place (she lives near cubao, i think). we left peepee's mom at tita ruby's and went home. unfortunately, it was traffic in araneta avenue. we were able to get home at around 11pm. we were so tired, but peepee still had to unload the doggies and all the things we brought with us.
i was no help to peepee that night. my back was really hurting and i can't bear to stand up anymore. he told me to just lie down and rest when we got home, so i did.
we still had to go to work (peepee at 2am, while my schedule was 3am, sunday). unfortunately, we were unable to go to work on time because it was raining so hard, it was impossible to go to work on time.

peepee and i had bonding time..hehe..we bathed in the rain..then we washed miguelito together, while it was still drizzling.

i just got my camera...haha!! it's so pretty! i can't wait to use it tomorrow..i'm still doing the initial charge thingy so, i can't use it until tomorrow. buti na lang there's another show over at SM Fairview that peepee and i would go to..

what's for dinner..

last night i prepared adobong pusit sa kamatis. i first tasted it when we went to pangasinan, and lee cooked it for us. i asked him how he cooked it, but i forgot what he said. hehe..sorry lee. so i went back to the drawing board and just prepared how i thought it was prepared.

although i'm a fan of pusit lumot, for this recipe, i used the long types of squid that has reddish or maroonish-looking skin. sorry, but i forgot what it's called. it's the thinner types of pusit compared to the pusit lumot, which is great for stuffing.

ingredients:
enough squid (i bought a kilo), cut into rings, leave the tentacles as is
about 5-6 tomatoes, chopped into chunks
minced garlic
salt, sugar, and pepper to taste
vinegar
soy sauce

preparations:
1. brown the garlic in a bit of oil. take it out of the oil, then put the tomatoes in, then cook it until it's soggy enough to mash it.
2. after mashing the tomatoes, put the squid in. don't put water since the squid will sweat and the water that will come out is enough. let it simmer in low heat until the squid is cooked.
3. add salt, vinegar, about a couple of taplespoons of soy sauce, and just enough sugar. make sure that when you add the vinegar, let it simmer for about two minutes before stirring it.
4. add the browned garlic and simmer for a couple of minutes more.

tada! done in a matter of minutes. oh, and one more thing, remember to remove the ink sac when cleaning the squid so the sauce won't be too dark.

once on this island

this is the title of the musical that my brother did when he was still studying at UST. he was a member of the Teatro Tomasino, and of all the plays they did, this one was (and is) my favorite.

i was in the ladies room, washing my hands when i suddenly started humming one of the songs included in this musical. i guess it growed in me. since my brother was part of the supporting characters, he had to practice a lot. he brought home a copy of the entire musical (they had recorded it on a cassette tape, so it's easier to rewind and play) as well as the entire lyric sheet. he would practice the entire play, and would even ask me to join him in his practice. he taught me how to read the lyric sheet and he would even ask me to play the part of one of the gods. he would also practice with me whenever he thinks he's not singing it right.

because of all the singing that we did, i got to memorize the entire musical. i know how it sounds like. i know where the second voices begin, and i know how it should sound like.

so, i was washing my hands, then i started humming one of the songs. when i got to my station, i immediately began searching for a site that has the complete lyrics, if not the lyric sheet, for the entire musical.

basically, it's a story about love between two persons with way different backgrounds. the boy is from a rich family, while the girl is an orphan, adopted by peasants. the boy was betrothed to someone else when he got into an accident, and it was the orphan girl who nursed him back to health. they fell in love, but then the boy had to return home and marry the other girl, which left the orphan girl broken hearted.

i guess i'm a sucker to love stories. haha..

425th and 426th pcci all breed championship dog show

yesterday, we attended another dog show. it was held at the pcci activity center in marikina. most of the pictures i took were of shih tzus. peepee and i wanted to show the pics to veron. hehe..

a sad day for everyone..

june 25, 2009 came out to be a sad day for everyone in the world. michael jackson is dead. sure, i'm not the biggest fan alive, but, i have to say, pop music would not be what it is now if it hadn't been for such great artists like michael jackson. i feel sorry for him, really. i think what happened to him was one of the saddest tragedies that ever happened in the entertainment industry. my condolences to all those he left behind..

423rd and 424th PCCI All Breed Chamnpionship Dog Shows

it was held last saturday (june 20th abd 21st) at the PCCI activity center in marikina. judges were Ms. Lynn Harwood (Australia) on ring 1 and Mr. Tan OO Hock (Malaysia) on ring 2. it was just Beauty's second time to join the show so we were surprised she bagged two points on the second ring. we're so proud of her!!

gardenville resort

last sunday, we celebrated my dad's and cousin's birthday in gardenville resort in binangonan. we went to my cousin's house in binangonan (st. monique valais) on saturday night and spent the night there. sunday morning we went out to look for a resort and we found gardenville resort along the highway.
too bad peepee wasn't able to join us because he had just come out of work and he still had shift at 11:45 pm sunday night.

cauterization...

earlier today (or, should i say, yesterday?!), i went with my dad and we did some errands. we first had his picture taken. then while he was waiting for his pictures to be developed, i left the studio to have all his lab results photocopied (for his sss). then, off we went to the bank so he could open an account. we were told he needed at least two valid id's. he only had one (his sss id). since all his other id's were expired, we were told to get one more valid id. so, we went home first to eat lunch (and to have my brother sign the Special Power of Attorney from my mom), then to try to get at least a barangay certificate (it was the fastest). i asked wiz to go to the barangay hall but unfortunately, he was told the secretary who was supposed to be making the certificate was out and won't be back until later in the evening.
so, my dad and i had to go to carriedo to have his nbi clearance renewed. then, we went back to the bank to open an account. after that, we went straight to megamall to meet with my mom and my cousin, who is already there.
reason why we went there was because my mom wanted to have her syringomas removed. my cousin had hers cauterized about a year ago, before she went to malaysia. my mom wanted to have hers removed as well. i wanted the wart on my right eye removed. so i met up with my mom and cousin in megamall.
so now, i have a scab on my right eye which the dermatologist said would last for about a week. and he also told me that i cannot wash my face just for tonight. which is fine with me. at least i don't have to live with this wart for my entire days.

syringoma - a benign (non cancerous) growth on the skin. i think it usually appears around the eyes. the dermatologist said it is genetic. i would guess so, because my mom, my cousin, her mom, and my mom's other siblings has it (around the eyes as well). luckily, i don't have it. but i have this wart on my right eye. correction. i USED TO have it.

can't think of anything to blog about (for the first time). i have a lot in mind, but i haven't uploaded the pics yet. i'm planning to put them together and make a slideshow out of it but, since i wanted to get pictures from kuya's cam, and momma's cam, i haven't started it yet.
so, now, i'm here, blogging about nothing...yet.

beauty on training

training day

early this morning, our trainer/handler landel dropped by to train beauty and hapee. he said beauty is ready for her second dog show. we had beauty registered for the show this coming saturday. it will be held in marikina at the pcci complex. landel told us to be there by 1pm. the last time we joined was sometime last year. yeah, it's been a while, and beast already has, i think, 37 or 42 points. we need 100 points before he becomes a hall of famer.

grapefruit diet, anyone?

i'm trying to shed excess fat. i've got way too much of 'em in my system (anyone who wants them, they're yours, free! haha!). i used to be reed-thin (somewhere around 90-99lbs. yeah, size zero. i used to buy my clothes at the pre-teens department because none would fit in the women's dept). now, i'm somewhere in between (120-130 lbs. i'm not telling. haha!).

my mom would tell me to go on a diet. i would say. yeah, later! so, here's what happened to me. i became a blob (well, sorta.) she would now say i look more of a mom than her.

then, we went to the mall sometime last week to check out a few fridges she wanted. she said it's about time that we replace our fridge with a new one because the one we're currently using is like, 30 years old. it could pass as an antique (if only there are fridge collectors anywhere who's willing to pay for our dear old fridge).

she promised she'd buy me the straightening iron if i get back to my original size. i've been looking at that iron for months now.

i don't want to start ranting about that iron, so i'll go back to the original topic why i'm blogging today. aside from the fact that i want that iron soo sooo bad, i think it's about time i become thin again. why? here's why..

1. i can't walk long distances anymore without stopping to catch my breath. i get tired easily when peepee and i walk around the mall, doing just grocery stuff.

2. seeing my fat self in the mirror is kind of gross.

3. i want to be able to fit back into the clothes that i used to wear.

4. i'm sick of seeing myself fat.

anyhoo, my mom recommended a diet that doesn't require excercising. none at all. it only requires that you eat the specified amount of grapefruit for each meal. i don't think it would be too hard for me since i love grapefruit and eating them on the daily basis is not a problem.

i'm planning to start tomorrow. well, good luck to me (i'll be needing it!)

it will last 12 days and i'll keep you posted on my before and after weigh-ins.

errands..

it was my rest day last monday and tuesday. monday, my dad and i went to ust to (finally) meet with his doctor. it was an entire day wasted because we were sitting in front of the doctor's clinic, on very uncomfortable, padded benches. it wasn't until after around four hours of waiting before we were able to speak with the doctor.

tuesday was a bit hectic. i accompanied my mom with some errands she had to do. we left the house at around 9:30-10:00 am to go to PNB along cm recto ave. my mom was able to get a seat right away. thing was, there was only one lady working on all the people queued. so, needless to say, it took us about an hour or so, before my mom got entertained. one more problem is, we still had to meet this person so we could give a package that was sent through my mom. the meeting was arranged in between 11:00am to 11:30am in jollibee in bustillos. since my mom is still at the bank, she told me to go to jollibee without her to meet up with this person. so, i did. i told my mom i'd wait for her there before we go home. so after i've given the package, i waited for my mom inside jollibee (it was sizzling outside!). when she got there, we went home to eat lunch.

she said she still had to fill out forms for her re-entry visa (or permit, i think). she had an air21 messenger pick it up at home. the courier arrived around 1:30-2:00 in the afternoon.after the documents were picked up, we went to GSIS (near MOA). i didn't know that it was there. the travel time (going to gsis) took longer than the minutes we stayed inside the office. i think we stayed there for just ten minutes (or even less). my mom was told that she would be getting the money after a month (it took her almost two years before she got the cheque from her last work!)

after leaving the building, my mom wanted to go back to moa to eat. after filling ourselves, we went home, and the ride home was worse..huhu..our backs (and butts) were aching!

newbies..

aside from the skittles that i got from my mom, i also got four more new thingies from her. first off, a black MAC make up bag. my mom said it was a freebie. the actual items that were bought were: 1. a mac frost lipstick in solar plum, 2. mac liquidlast liner in brassbeat, and 3. mac eyeshadow in cranberry. i wasnt able to get a picture of the eyeshadow. i just don't know where it would look best with. i think these three items would look good together. hopefully they would. i'll test it on wiz later when he wakes up. hehe..

a day of errands turned into a day wasted

my dad and i met up today at ust hospital for his doctor's appointment. we met around 12noon. we were 10th on the list. we waited for almost four hours before we got called. we waited for such a long time, when we came back after eating lunch, the doctor was still checking patient number 7. award winning.
when it was our turn to speak with her, the entire check up lasted for what, maximum fifteen minutes. the only reason why it took a while before we went out of the clinic was because my dad was given a flu vaccine. he was also given his first once a week shot of Eprex.
so, we got home around four thirty, i think.
haay...such a waste.

my mom's here! we got to the airport a bit later than usual. it was traffic along pasay. but, it's fine now. i got a bit of skittles and lots of jewelries. hehe.. an addition to my growing collection of jewelries...

i got a message from my mom saying that her flight from vancouver to narita, japan went back to vancouver after an hour on the air because of plane problems. the plane was supposed to leave vancouver 1:45 pm for narita. i got the message 6:30am today so, it means that she's still in the airport somewhere in vancouver as this time.
i immediately checked online for information about the delay. as usual, the sites for JAL, AirCanada, as well as the NAIA, are all useless. they all say that everything is going on accordingly. hello, my mom won't be stuck in vancouver if everything is going on as scheduled!

old addiction is baaack!!

back in my high school days, i became sooo addicted to wonka nerds candies. i would buy a box everytime i see one available. i think i've tried all available flavors. i sort of quit buying them when i started college. primarily because i didn't know where else to buy them. so, the habit of endulging in its tanginess died.

so, when i started working, i would see boxes displayed on 7-eleven's counters. i would buy a box or two.

then, when peepee and i started to bring packed lunch to work, we would shop for groceries twice a month. i started the addiction again. i would buy a box of apple-watermelon and another box of grape-strawberry.

then, last saturday, when we did our groceries, i saw this huge box of rainbow nerds (7 oz of goodness). i immediately placed it in my cart without thinking twice. hehe.. i'm now trying to finish the entire box.

*edited 06052009* - i finished eating the entire box of rainbow nerds. i ate everything (all 7 ounces of it) for three days and finally, after my tongue suffered from minor cuts and nicks from eating too much nerds, i was able to finish it!!
