merry christmas!!

hay!! very tiring talaga 'tong week na 'to. i had to wrap all of peejay's and my gifts to all our inaanak and all the giveaways, plus last-minute shopping and ate's birthday pa. grabe talaga. everyday, i only get to sleep around 1-1 1/2 hours then peejay and i will go to the office, then sleep another 2 hours before i log in.
buti na lang, i was able to greet mommy yesterday. a lot has happened starting from sitel's christmas party (obvious bang di updated blog ko?! wahehehe...)
so, let's start with karl angelo's christnening until today (this is gonna be one long post..)

then came baby yanna's christening the week after..

then sitel's christmas party right after the christening..

then ate's birthday last december 22. we went out and ate at kenny rogers'.

welcome home coach shei!!!

i read coach ron's blog. coach she will be back! hehe. i asked coach ron when, he said today at around 2. di ko alam kung 2 in the morning or 2 in the afternoon. siguro this afternoon. i asked coach ron to invite coach shei in our christmas celebration tomorrow here in the office. sabi nya text daw nya si coach shei e..

freedom!!!

haay!!! sarap!!! ngaun lang ulit ako nakaexperience ng saturday na wala mashadong calls!!! kanina pa avail. we get calls every now and then, pero it's okay. it's not as harrassing as the other days' calls. and i get to play my neopets. heheheh...

candy corner..

one thing i love most is eating candies, and chocolates and more candies. chocolate is a given. almost everybody loves eating them. but candies..i don't think so. i so like them, from the hardest jawbreaker, to the most sour skittles. i especially love those gummy candies. from the sour gummy bears to to the sweetest gummy candy. for hard candies, my all time faves are Runts, Nerds, and Gobstoppers. i like the heart-shaped and banana-shaped runts. for nerds, i like their nerds rope and the watermelon flavored nerds. i love how gobstoppers changed their colors while inside your mouth. last night, me, peejay and his mom and dad went to the mall to buy more gifts for baby aloumi and for her kuya giro, as well as a gift for lea's baby ayanna's christening this sunday. we were able to buy the gifts but not for kuya giro because we still have to decide to get whether the fooseball set or the remote controlled bob the builder truck. so after shopping, we ate at kenny rogers for dinner. we ordered their group meal and i added their philly steak sandwich. the sandwich was delish i think it would go well with the smoothies they are now serving. haven't tried their smoothies yet. oh, and i also bought a couple of sambos and a couple of sylvanas from brownies. i placed them in the freezer and i think it's still there. hehe.. forgot to bring it to work today. i couldn't resist not buying candies, so i went to candy corner and i mixed together runts, and these cute baby pacifier candies. pj's mom and me kept eating the candies all the way home. she didn't like the pacifier candies so she ate the runts candies and now i'm eating these pacifier candies. i like the red and blue colored pacifiers. i think they taste wonderful.

gerald and beng's wedding..

finally...i am posting my pictures of gerald's and beng's wedding last december 7 (haaay! grabe, ang tagal!).
the wedding was supposed to start at 2pm, but it was pacquiao day. hehe..so, mejo late nag start wedding. around 3:30 or 4pm, i think. the ceremony was solemn, although the priest was breaking the monotony every now and then by speaking in filipino, which was nice.
beng walked down the aisle while ghe was singing, while waiting for her at the altar (aaawww! ang romantic! kinikilig ako). everything was great. pati yung weather (ghe, lakas mo talaga kay Lord!). i'm a witness, ghe has been praying for nice weather on their wedding since the day he told us they're gonna get married in december.

after the ceremony, we ate great food. we ate just outside the church. they served garden salad, lengua, fish steak (tuna, i think), pork with tomato sauce (i don't know the exact name), and fruit salad for dessert. they also had a chocolate fountain. unfortunately, i wasn't able to take a picture of any of the foods they served because we were famished!

neopets

i'm so full. peejay and i just had breakfast. we bought the food from bancheto. i had sisig with rice and peejay bought spicy tapa for himself. we ate in the pantry kase may pulis pangkalawakan na umiikot sa floor e (weeeh...epal!). i was so full i still couldn't sit up straight!

anyhoo, i have a new addiction. actually, i'm a repeat offender (hehe..) i started getting addicted to neopets way back when i was in college (god, i'm old!). i created an account then, but forgot about it until now. a few days ago, bee was playing something online. i asked her what site it was, she said neopets. and then she said if i had an account then i can just log back in and my user account will be retrieved. i had no idea what my user account was, how else would i know what my password is. so, i created a new account and so far, i have two neopets already!

this is my first neopet. her name is missy. her color's red.

Four years..

i got the shoes!!

peejay and i went to megamall last night after work. he bought me a pair of sandals that i'm gonna wear to ghe's wedding (thanks be!) it looks brown but it's greenish. it matches the moss green sash on my dress. we bought it from le donne. i had a choice between a gold-colored high heeled slip on and the sky high sandals peejay bought for me.
reason why i didn't choose the slip on was the heels were pencil thin and was a bit wobbly. i'm trying to steer away from those sandals. i didn't want to fall flat on my ass if something goes wrong.
i liked the greenish sandals because although the heels were so high, it felt more stable than the other. the front of the sandal is also raised a bit and when i tried walking, it didn't feel like walking with heels. the sandal itself was comfy enough for me.

in my opinion - it is a blunder; a foot-in-mouth moment; an is-there-a-hole-i-could-crawl-into moment; a moment more awkward than finding your parents kissing..yeah, the list could go on, so i hope you know what i mean.



last saturday (or should i say, sunday morning), peejay and i went to the christening of a friend's baby. so, of course, everybody got tipsy (except me, i drank just a bottle of beer). so, peejay and i dropped off a couple of our friends in their cribs. the second to the last we dropped off was ryan. so, i guess he was just light-headed because of all the booze, but before he closed the car door, he said "cge pee, cge cha!"


of all the ridiculous names he could call me! i was so freaking dumbfounded! i was only able to say to myself, "pati ikaw?". call me the biggest hater, i don't care! of all the names you could call me, why call me that freaking name! i've been called that a couple of times now and up until now it it my most hated name (and person) and nothing is going to top that!

i swear i was so peeved when i heard him say that! but then, all i got to say out loud was "di ka na makakabalik samen!". haha. funny. but i didn't mean it. i'm not mad at him for saying that. i know he was drunk. i don't hate ryan for saying it (i just hate the feeling when i get to be called someone else's name, especially if that someone IS someone i hate). it was a faux-pas moment for him, and that's ok. everybody has it and no one is immune to it.

according to a book i once read (i forgot the title, but it was a novel) "it is a sin to extremely hate someone, because HATE is a sin against God. But i think God may forgive me if i said i utterly and absolutely DISLIKE someone, will He"?

at this point, my dislike to that name is way beyond it's limits. if anyone even dares calling me that name, ever again, well, to hell with faux pas! just go to the corner of your room and screw yourself!

merry christmas!

pj's mom and i (and mamita) did our christmas shopping yesterday (well, just part of it lang because we still have some stuff left to buy next week). we went to divisoria and super grabe dami ng tao! (huhu.. no pictures.) i did not bring my phone nor my camera with me. shempre, i'd want to spend christmas with complete limbs!
so, i was able to buy all the gifts for peejay's and my inaanaks. the only gifts i need to buy are those for my brothers, sisters and to everyone else in the family.
