gumbo

it's been a while since we last ate here in gumbo. peejay and i promised that we'll eat here again, but we still have to try the kebab restaurant in front of it.
their house specialty..seafood jambalaya..it's their version of our paella. you have your between spicy jambalaya or the regular one. since peejay's mom didn't spicy, we chose the regular jambalaya, which has a spicy kick. good thing we didn't choose the spicy jambalaya because we wouldn't be able to finish it. the serving is good for four.
their fish and chips. it had a mustard and something else dip, which tasted great with the fish and the fries had a thin coating of something and it tasted great with the mustard dip. i think the dip had onion bits in it, which complemented the tangy flavor of the mustard.
we also ordered crab meat. i forgot the exact name of this dish but it was delicious. it also came with the same dip that came with the fish and chips. i think it was cooked the same way like a regular torta, only difference is that it was i think cooked with the crab shell.
